The Month in Review: September, 2018

This September, 2018 seven articles were published here in
Philippine Credit Cards

Among the new articles, the one about the Metrobank Travel Platinum Visa was read the most with 2881 views when this was written. Also important was how the number of page views per month jumped from 38450 last August, 2018 to 45897 this month with a total of more than 98000 page views since Philippine Credit Cards started last June.


September 24
HIGHLIGHTS: This was my first elite card. It helped me buy my Montlbanc Tribute to the Mont Blanc Le Grand Fountain Pen. It earns miles with the highest ratio of 17 Pesos (overseas or in foreign currency) to 1 mile.

September 19
HIGHLIGHTS: This article compared cards which were specifically designed to answer travel needs, especially by earning air miles. These were from Citi, Metrobank, PNB, Unionbank, BDO, and BPI.

HIGHLIGHTS: This review was about the program BDO uses to convert straight payments into installments. The rates are enumerated here with a sample computation.

September 13
HIGHLIGHTS: This article about how credit clients can increase their credit limits is about convincing banks that you are a high spending person by mainly spending a lot.

September 9
HIGHLIGHTS: This comparison of Classics is aimed at people who are trying to get their first credit cards. It informs us of the advantages of each Classic card.

September 6
HIGHLIGHTS: American Express cards are issued by only BDO in the Philippines. If you are an AMEX cardholder, you can take advantage of BDO's many, many partners and allies.

August 31
HIGHLIGHTS: Each credit company has its own perks and benefits. The key is to find which one suits you and your lifestyle.
