The Month in Review

This July, 2018 the following were published here in my blog
Philippine Credit Cards:

(These are the Dienastie Apex shades I bought using my BDO Mastercard; it was a good deal)

July 1, 2018
Highlights: Like the name says, this is a card for people who like shopping. It comes with a free SM Advantage Card and nice deals. This was my very first credit card, ever so I can say it is a good choice for your first application. The requirements are not that strict or too high. And those discounts and rebates during the SM Three Day Sales are amazing!

July 5, 2018
Highlights: This card from RCBC Bankard comes in either JCB, Visa, or Mastercard. It made little difference for me. The point is that this card is from RCBC Bankard which has very good customer service. I never had to wait on the line to speak to a representative, ever. It is also very easy to email them for requests or inquiries, even if availing of the "UNLI-ZERO" program to convert spending into installment payments WITHOUT INTEREST.

July 11, 2018
Highlights: This was the MOST VIEWED BLOG ENTRY this month, with 3692 views as of August 1. After all, who does not want to earn 1 MILE FOR EVERY PHP30 SPENT??? Also, this is not a Visa Classic, Visa Gold, or even a Visa Platinum card. It is a VISA SIGNATURE CARD which means you have access to the Visa Concierge service, which has already helped me book airline tickets and land transport services, reserve restaurant tables, and find places I could not find using Google.

July 17, 2018
Highlights: After featuring the Citi Premier Miles card, I saw that the Visa Concierge needed its own blog entry. Please believe me when I say that this perk and privilege will help you when nothing else will. From travel booking (hotel, airline, ocean cruise, even private jet and helicopter) to information to restaurants to even rounds of golf almost anywhere in the world.

July 26, 2018
Highlights: Since BDO is the largest commercial bank in the country, BDO has lots of offers for discounts, rebates, and special deals. This card is really nothing special in and of itself but it has so much to offer if you are patient and if you read the emails sent to you. This card was used to buy those Dienastie Apex shades on the top of this blog entry and they cost me around half as much as they should have, will be charged months after buying (not charged yet while I write this), and will have payment divided into several installments.

July 31, 2018
Highlights: Installment payments should be handled with care. I was able to get this Montblanc Tribute to the Mont Blanc Series 149 Le Grand fountain pen with a 24 month installment payment deal. These are very convenient to the customer who knows how to use them. Be aware of good deals and be practical in planning them.
